Make your own foaming hand soap

My husband is a foaming hand soap snob.  Once we bought our first bottle, he was hooked and we cannot go back to regular hand soap.  A few months ago, I bought a special bottle from a Pampered Chef show that allowed you to turn regular hand soap into foaming soap.  I was ecstatic!  But, it was $14.50 and we have three sinks.  I bought one.  When it came in the mail, I read the instructions and successfully managed to make my own foaming hand soap.  Then, EUREKA, I realized the secret is in the bottle and nothing more.  Any foaming hand soap bottle will allow you to make your own.  Here is how I now make my own foaming soap:

I found foaming hand soap at the dollar tree, and we used it all up:

This poor bottle of regular hand soap has been sitting in our closet in case of a foam emergency:

I took the regular hand soap and filled the empty foam bottle about 20% full.

Then I added water to fill the bottle to about 90% capacity.  I added the lid and carefully shook the bottle around to mix the soap with the water.

And, voila!  We have foaming hand soap!
This trick is going to save us major money!
